The Town of Latchford is seeking qualified and experienced professional planning consultants to submit proposals for the preparation of a new Official Plan and a new comprehensive Zoning By-law for the Town of Latchford.
The Town’s existing Official Plan was adopted in 1981 and is substantially outdated, failing to reflect the current provincial planning policy framework, contemporary land use patterns, community aspirations, or the full range of planning issues facing northern Ontario municipalities today. The Town has determined that a comprehensive review and replacement of both its Official Plan and a new Zoning By-law is necessary to ensure continued compliance.
The Town is seeking to create a new Official Plan and Zoning By-law to set out an updated vision for growth and development over the next 25 years.
