This Addendum forms part of RFP-PW2026-004. In the event of a conflict between this Addendum and the original RFP, this Addendum shall govern. Proponents are required to acknowledge this Addendum in Appendix A – Proposal Submission Form.
1. PROJECT SIZE AND BUDGET CLARIFICATION
Question: Is the Township able to provide guidance on the anticipated size and/or budget for the project to be used as the basis for consultant fee proposals?
Response: For the purpose of preparing proposals, Proponents may use an approximately 2,400 sq. ft. replacement hall and a preliminary overall project budget of approximately $1.5 million as the current planning basis. The current preliminary construction allowance within this planning figure is approximately $1.135 million, with the balance allocated to site preparation and servicing, professional services, demolition, equipment and related project implementation costs.
These figures are preliminary planning assumptions only and are not a final building program, approved design, guaranteed construction value or fixed capital budget. As stated in the RFP, the final building size, layout, site configuration, servicing requirements, demolition scope, schedule and total capital cost have not been finalized. Confirming the facility needs, preferred concept and Class C capital cost estimate remains part of Phase 1 – Project Definition & Preliminary Design.
