The Municipality of Powassan is seeking tenders for the rehabilitation of approximately 400 metres of Clark Street between the project west limit near the overpass and Main Street. The work generally consists of milling the existing asphalt surface, application of tack coat, placement of 60 mm compacted SP12.5 hot mix asphalt, adjustment of manholes, catch basins, and valve boxes to final grade, intersection tie-ins at Joseph Street and Edward Street, traffic control, and all associated restoration. A portion of the roadway may require pulverizing, granular base correction, or localized full-depth repairs, which will be completed as provisional work at the direction of the Municipality. The project is intended to improve the riding surface and extend the service life of this key municipal roadway while maintaining existing drainage patterns and access to adjacent properties.
