REQUEST FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION SUBMISSIONS
PAYETTE RESERVOIR UPGRADES

The Town of Penetanguishene is soliciting Pre-Qualification Submissions from General Contractors wishing to be evaluated and possibly pre-qualified to bid on the Payette Reservoir Upgrades.

This project has an approximate construction value of $2.5M and will include: two 1,100 m3 glass-fused-to-steel water storage standpipes and associated water mains, yard piping and valves; replacement of the gas chlorine feed system; emergency chlorine gas scrubber system; replacement of the water main from the reservoir site to Church Street; and all related civil, site works, electrical, instrumentation and control equipment, and process piping and valves. It is anticipated the Contract Documents for this project will be issued to pre-qualified General Contractors in late February 2015 for a closing and award of a Contract in April 2015. Substantial Performance is to be achieved by November 2015.

Pre-Qualification Submissions shall be made on CCDC Form 11 – 1996 (R2006) Contractor’s Qualification Statement and shall include all of the following information (use additional forms/sheets as necessary):

 Minimum of three similar projects completed in the past five years with a construction value in excess of $2.5M. Include for each project:
• brief project description;
• key staff names and their experience and role in these projects;
• original tendered prices and final contract prices;
• description and value of
