Relay Education is requesting proposals from firms to develop content for and facilitate workshop modules pertaining to Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping related to the development of rooftop and ground mount solar projects.

GIS is enabling new energy production by identifying sites of maximum energy potential and optimized economic development while minimizing environmental impact. For identifying potential sites for solar photovoltaic power systems. The course will build participants ability to do this for both roof-top and ground mount solar.

The successful provider must have in-depth experience instructing GIS and its usages for the development of solar projects. They must be able to develop course content relevant to preparing youth from across Canada to pursue careers related to the usage or understanding of GIS.
