The Township of Schreiber is seeking a talented and proven team to develop a detailed, ‘tender-ready’ plan for the expansion and dramatic improvement of the Schreiber Railway Museum. This includes the design and construction of the Virtual Passenger Rail Car Experience.

With the support of Parks Canada, the Economic Development Committee, Council and staff; Schreiber is committed to transforming the Schreiber Railway Museum into a tourism attraction that will become a must-visit destination along Lake Superior’s North Shore. This will be done by expanding and improving the Schreiber Rail Museum in such a way that it will elevate Lake Superior’s North Shore tourist experience as a whole.

The successful proponent will have architecture, design and engineering expertise. The finished product will need to include detailed design and cost so that Schreiber can quickly transition to implementation.

This project will be the highest priority for the Township of Schreiber, led by the Community Economic Development Manager, as well as other key management individuals and stakeholders.
