The Town of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands is seeking proposals from a qualified and mature person to provide, coordinate and manage guided tours of the Sheguiandah Archaeological Site for the 2022 Spring/Summer Season on a Contract Basis.

The contract will be for a period of 17 weeks, beginning mid-May to mid-September 2022. This position will work a total of 24 hours per week, with the tour schedule to vary based on demand.

The ability for the successful proponent to have flexibility within their schedule, in order to adapt to meet tour demands, would be considered an asset. Proponents must clearly define and demonstrate the following elements within their proposal:
– Skills, qualifications and relevant experience. Previous experience providing guided tours, tourism related activities and customer service experience would be considered an asset.
– Availability to provide guided tours as per the outlined requirements above. Please define if you have flexibility within your schedule.
– Detailed breakdown of all costs to provide the outlined services.
– Cover letter, resume and references should be included along with your proposal.
