NEW SALT STORAGE DOME ADDENDUM NO. 1

May 30, 2018

This addendum has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to revise and clarify selected sections within the original Tender document.

The following sections within the tender will be clarified or revised:

1.“SP A1 Supply and Install Covered Building complete with Footings, Foundation and Concrete Floor” shall be changed to “Supply and Install Covered Building complete with Footings, Foundation and Asphalt Floor.

The specifications for the concrete floor included in this section shall be removed and replaced with the following specification for an asphalt floor:

– 40mm HL3 High Stability (HS) Surface Course with PG 64-28 asphalt cement.
– 75mm Heavy Duty Binder Course (HDBC) with PG 64-28 asphalt cement.
– 150mm Granular A
– 450mm Granular B Type II

2. The Geotechnical Investigation, prepared by Golder Associates (dated September 29, 2018) has been added to the tender as Schedule VI.
