TENDER FOR CHAMPLAIN ROAD ASPHALT RESURFACING

TOWN LIMITS TO MILITARY ROAD

SUMMER 2015

SEALED TENDERS, will be received at the Town of Penetanguishene Municipal Office located at 10 Robert Street West, Penetanguishene, Ontario L9M 2G2 until 12:00 P.M. Noon local time on Friday, June 12th, 2015. This time and date shall be the Closing Date of Tenders. Tenders submitted after the Closing Date will not be considered.

The Work to be performed by the successful tenderer will include the following items on Champlain Road between the Town Limits and Military Road within the 2015 summer construction season:

• In-place Full Depth Reclamation with Expanded Asphalt Stabilization of the Existing Pavement Surface and Asphalt Resurfacing Champlain Road (Town Limits to Military Road)
• Drainage Improvements (Ditching, Culvert Installation, Asphalt Gutters and Spillways)
• Erosion and Sedimentation Control
• Boulevard Restoration

Qualified contractors may obtain Tender documents for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 from the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department office located at 22 Centennial Drive, Penetanguishene, Ontario.

Each Tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00).

THE LOWEST OR ANY TENDER WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE ACCEPTED.
