HAULAGE AND DISPOSAL OF CONTAMINATED SOIL
ADDENDUM NO. 2

This addendum has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to revise and clarify selected sections within the original Tender document.
The following sections are to be revised within the Tender document: SECTION 2.1 – DESCRIPTION OF WORK (Inclusion of Appendix A)
The Work to be performed by the successful tenderer will encompass the haulage and disposal of approximately 1000 metric tonnes (MT) of contaminated soil. Each eligible contractor must have the necessary Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) or approved equivalent issued from the MOECC for the transportation of contaminated material. The removed material must be disposed of at an approved MOECC location with weigh tickets provided for each hauled load.
It is anticipated that the site can be accessed by trailers for direct loading of contaminated soil
The Phase 2 Conceptual Site Model is provided in Appendix A.
