The Township of Seguin is seeking a qualified consultant or consulting team to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for the Rosseau Memorial Hall. The Plan will provide direction for the hall’s development based on current and future programming needs. The Plan will provide direction for the redevelopment and enhancement of the facility to achieve long-term viability and to maintain the cultural and historical significance of the hall. The Master Plan process will assess the status of the current facility and plan a future that reflects the values and needs of the community. Due to the historic nature of the building, the design should incorporate considerations and guidance concerning historic material preservation and rehabilitation. The Township is looking for recommendations on upgrades to the mechanical and electrical components of the building as well. The successful consultant will include an analysis of current and forecasted needs, clear recommendations and an implementation strategy that will highlight the centennial celebration of the hall in 2024. The Master Plan should be concise, innovative and visionary, with the end user in mind, making it a useful tool for short-term and future planning of the facility.
