Request for Proposal (RFP) – Member Engagement & Communication Strategy

The Municipal Finance Officers’ Association of Ontario (MFOA), established in 1989, is the professional association of municipal finance officers with more than 4,000 individual members.

MFOA promotes the interests of our members in carrying out their statutory and other financial responsibilities through advocacy, information sharing, networking opportunities, and through the promotion of fiscal sustainability. We also provide members with training and education to enable continuous professional development and to support excellence in municipal finance.

MFOA is currently seeking proposals from qualified individuals or companies to develop an engagement strategy and communications plan for our members, to ensure the Association’s growth and relevance.

This RFP is for a consultant (or consulting firm) to develop a three-year member engagement and communication strategy tailored to the needs of the Association and its membership. The strategy’s primary purpose is to ensure the Association’s continued value and relevance to its members. The secondary purpose is to increase membership engagement such that more members become MFOA brand ambassadors.

This Request for Proposal represents the requirements for an open and competitive process. Proposals will be accepted until 3pm EST June 29, 2017. Any proposals received after this date and time will be returned to the sender. All proposals must be signed by an official agent or representative of the company submitting the proposal.
